course overview
module 1
practice of teaching yoga
This course has a strong foundation in the practice of asana and teaching methods in order to ensure that all graduates have the confidence to safely design and lead their own yoga classes.
module 2
philosophy of yoga
The second largest focus of this training is the philosophy of yoga which will be integrated into all of the training sessions so that the graduates leave with a firm understanding of yoga as more than simply poses but a tool for them and their students in all aspects of life.
module 3
alignment & anatomy of yoga
An integral part of safely and effectively leading students in yoga. This course will provide you with a strong understanding of the body and how to guide students in terms of the “feeling” of a pose, not simply the “shape.”
module 4
how to teach online
Building on the foundation of the practice of teaching we’ll dive into all the ways that teaching online differs from teaching in person. All graduates will have the confidence and knowledge to offer classes online and in person.
module 5
the business of yoga
All too often the actual business of yoga is rushed through and newly certified teachers find themselves totally unprepared to make teaching their fulltime work. This course is committed to giving you the basic principles to create a thriving teaching career.
