wild scottish retreat

Escape to the Highlands with me

10th-14th october 2024
sold out!

Come away with me to Burmieston Farmstead in rural Perthshire for an equal parts restorative and invigorating retreat. The vistas are huge, the weather immediate, the buildings old and solid. It’s the kind of place where the false barriers between the man-made and the natural world fall away. The kind of place where you can find a little bit of peace.

“I attended Elena’s Wild Scottish yoga retreat (my first ever!) and I could not have hoped for a dreamier, more relaxing, gorgeous getaway. As an on-off beginner yogi for years I was nervous to take the plunge, but Elena could not have been more warm, welcoming and friendly. The venue was idyllic, and the company, yoga and food were just what I had hoped for. I would HIGHLY recommend Elena, her yoga, and her retreats in a heartbeat!"

what's included

here's what you'll get

yoga

The whole reason we are here

A yoga retreat wouldn't be complete without plenty of yoga right?

Each morning we will start our days in the stunning new yoga space waking up our bodies with a dynamic practice.

In the evenings we'll return to our stunning space for gentle, restorative yoga. Eco friendly grippy yoga mats, blankets, blocks and cushions all provided.

guided walks

This is where we soak up the nature

Scotland is known for it's wild natural beauty. Rolling hills covered in heather, flocks of roaming sheep, rushing waterfalls and ancient trees all feature on our two guided walks.

One is a 4 hour hike. This one does test your stamina and will make you extra grateful for restorative yoga that evening. It's a loop so there's no cutting out early, make sure you've got comfy hiking shoes and a full water bottle.

The other is a much gentler walk along the River Braan. If we are lucky we may see salmon leaping up the falls as we follow the woodland trail.

food

The other best bit

If you know me, then you know that food is a top priority. All meals will be prepared by our very own private chef. All dietary requirements will be catered to. As an adult, there really is nothing like getting to relax and enjoy 3 meals a day that you didn't have to plan, make, and clean up after. It's truly a luxury. Did I mention the daily desserts?

little extras

The tiny details that make it special

No tlc retreat is complete without your personalised welcome gifts. Upon arrival be sure to look through all the little surprises waiting for you.

Throughout the retreat there will also be plenty of scrummy Scottish treats you can help yourself to if ever you need a snack.

At our welcome dinner an optional glass or two of prosecco to toast and on the final night a wee dram of whisky round the fire to close out our time together.

getting here

Burmieston Farm, Logiealmond, Perthshire,

PH1 3TL

If using public transport within the UK: The nearest train station is Perth. We can help you book and share taxis from Perth station to the steading

If travelling internationally: Glasgow and Edinburgh airports are both about an hour away, I’d recommend taking the train from either city to Perth and then a shared taxi to the steading

If driving: Parking is available on site. Just enter the postcode PH1 3TL into your sat nav. When your sat nav says you’ve arrived continue driving on the road about another 3/4 mile. You’ll see the sign for ‘Burmieston The Steading’ on your right, turn onto the long driveway and follow till you are at the farmstead.
